Skippers and Service On Board
Our skippers are experienced and hospitable and have been active at De Eeuw for years. They know their way through the Amsterdam waters and always make the guests feel at their best.
As a rule, we always have service on board De Eeuw. Unfortunately, this is currently not possible due to the situation around Covid-19; therefore, for the time being the skipper will be alone on board and separated from the guests. You will receive instructions from us prior to your trip.
Menu & Wines
At De Eeuw, you have many possibilities in the culinary field. Naturally, we provide superior catering on board. The following dishes are served on board upon reservation:
• Delicious sushi from our Japanese home supplier; can be ordered as a starter but also as lunch and meal
• Happy Hour Snacks; platter with delicious cheeses and sausages or a fish platter
• A sandwich lunch for a nice afternoon cruise
• Cheese for dessert – a combination of delicious organic cheeses
The portions are tailored to the number of guests. However, if you do not have enough, our skippers are inventive enough to arrange some extras for you along the way. Do not hesitate to ask them about this.
We can of course fulfil any special wishes – feel free to ask the skipper when adjusting the speed.
It is also possible to pick up different courses while sailing from various renowned Amsterdam restaurants. The following restaurants are happy to serve on board:
Restaurant Amstel hotel – Brasserie La Rive
A permanent kitchen of De Eeuw for years. Always good for beautiful dishes and a treat for your guests. The desserts are phenomenal!
Restaurant Andaz Hotel – Bluespoon
Festive treat on board the kitchen brigade with creativity.
Restaurant Of The Card
Formerly a cozy restaurant on the Prinsengracht, nowadays purveyor to the salon boats in Amsterdam. Fine culinary delights, delicious oysters, but also a tasty tenderloin with fries can be served on request.
Restaurant Johannes
Specialized in surprise multi-course menus, but also with delicious dishes on board. Johannes is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
